Let Women Shine in the New Era —— QMES Held a Symposium on the International Women’s Day
On March 8th, 2023, the Labour Union of QMES held a symposium on the International Women’s Day themed “Let Women Shine in the New Era”. Dai Fuping, Secretary of the Party Committee of QMES; Cheng Yin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Dean of QMES; Zhou Yongcun, Assistant to the Dean of QMES; Wu Ajing, Chairman of the Labour Union and director of the General Affairs Office; and all the faculty members of QMES attended the symposium. It was presided over by Wu Ajing.
At the beginning, Dai Fuping, on behalf of QMES, expressed holiday wishes to all female faculty members. He said that the female faculty members of QMES are of feelings, responsibilities, and enthusiasm. They display their talents and take responsibilities bravely on their posts, and have formed an indispensable force to the development of QMES. He extended his gratitude to all female faculty members for their hard work. It is hoped that they would continue to work hard to make new contributions to QMES. In the selection of the annual advanced departments and the advanced female faculty groups organized by the Labor Union of NPU, QMES won the honor of “2021-2022 Advanced Female Faculty Group” and three female faculty members of QMES won the honors of “Outstanding Cadres of the Labour Union”, “Advanced Female Faculty Members” and “Outstanding Activists of the Labour Union”. Dai Fuping expressed his congratulations to them, and expected them to continuously play a leading role, further enhance the sense of responsibility and mission, and promote the high-quality development of QMES.
Yang Yufei, Director of the Party Committee Office of QMES, as the representative of the female faculty members, expressed her gratitude to all the male faculty members. She said that the female faculty members of QMES was large in quantity, while they are of high quality and aspirations; united and cooperated; and they will endeavor to create a new height for the development of QMES.
After the symposium, four male faculty members, including Dai Fuping and Zhou Yongcun, presented flowers to all female faculty members on behalf of QMES and expressed holiday wishes. On the International Women’s Day, every woman deserves the best wishes. Wish all the women pursue their dreams bravely and shine in the new era.
