Staff of QMES Watched the 40th Anniversary of China's Reform and Opening-up
At 10 a.m. on December 18, the 40thanniversary of China’s reform and opening-up was held in the Great Hall of the People. According to the unified arrangement of NPU, all staff of QMES watched the live broadcast of the conference and conscientiously studied the keynote speech of President Xi Jinping at the conference.
President Xi pointed out that on December 18, 1978, our Party convened the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee, which realized the great turning point of the party's history since the foundation of the People's Republic of China, and inaugurated the great historical process of the reform, opening-up and socialist modernization.
President Xi put forward a series of important thesis, mobilizing the whole Party and the people of all nationalities to continue promoting the reform and opening up in the new era, and striving unremittingly for the realization of the Two Centenary Goals and the realization of the Chinese Dream of the great national rejuvenation.
After watching the live broadcast of the conference, everyone was exhilarated and said would learn, understand and implement the spirit of the conference.
Comrade Kong Jie said that the important speech of President Xi was very inspiring and provided general guidelines for everyone to start the business. The speech mentioned that the Chinese nation has ushered in a great leap from standing up, getting rich and getting strongerTen foreign friends have won the China Reform Friendship Medal, which proved our country’s core position and important role in the world. Under the correct leadership of the Party Central Committee with President Xi Jinping as the core, China will continue to build an open economy and a community of human destiny, and will continue to contribute to Chinese wisdom, Chinese programme, and Chinese strength.
Comrade Chen Jun said that "For 40 years, we have always adhered to the development of advanced socialist culture, strengthening the construction of socialist spiritual civilization, cultivating and practicing the core values of socialism, and inheriting and promoting the excellent traditional Chinese culture" proposed by Xi Jinping. The speech constantly motivated everyone to adhere to morality education and full-scale education, to focus on promoting the development of Sino-foreign cooperative education institutions, to carry foward advanced ideas, to inherit traditional culture, and to further enhance cultural confidence.
Other comrades showed that under the guidance of President Xi's important speech, they would work hard and be innovative. They would explore new ways to promote the international development of QMES, cultivate high-quality talents, and make new efforts for the development and construction of Sino-foreign cooperatively education institutions in the new era.
