Themed Speech Contest of Welcoming the Holding of the 20th National Congress of the CPC Ended Successfully

In order to welcome the holding of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Youth League of China, QMES held a speech contest with the theme of “The 20th National Congress of the CPC, I would like to tell you” under the guidance of the Youth League Committee of NPU. The speech contest strengthened students’ ideological and political theory learning, improving their communication skills, comprehensively displaying the achievements of the new era, and expressing expectations towards the upcoming 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.

Since the beginning of the activity, students have actively participated in the activity and contributed enthusiastically. In the end, after the fierce competition, the activity selected one first prize, one second prize and one third prize in this event. Among them, Cao Lei, from the School of Public Policy and Administration, was unanimously praised by the judges and won the first prize. Zhang Zixuan from QMES won the second prize in the competition.

Reflections

This speech contest showed the positive spirit of the students of NPU, and inspired our enthusiasm for loving the party and our hometown. We will consciously combine patriotism, ambition with action, working hard to strengthen the development of our country in our youth time. We will live up to the times, cherish the time, live up to the ardent hopes of the party and the people, and contribute to the realization of the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

2022 marks the centenary of the founding of the Youth League. The majority of young people actively participated in the study and education of party’s history and Youth League history in various forms. Through this themed speech contest, I learned and realized the great history and glorious achievements of the party, and made clear the way of my future. I learned how to cultivate my own character and continuously enhance the vitality, creativity and cohesion in the practice of using historical experience. I will keep my original heart forever and take the mission bravely. As a college student in the new era, only by knowing the history, understanding the history, rethinking the history and using the history, can we better grasp the future and create the brilliant future!
