QMES Held An Experience Sharing Session on Studying in World Famous University
On 14thMay, 2019, An Experience Sharing Session on Studying in World Famous University organized by QMES Center for Students’ International Development was held in Chang’an campus of NPU. Three students in grade 2013 from the School of Materials Science and Engineering of NPU, Ma Yuewen, Chen Xinjie and Li Haobo who have studied overseas, shared their experiences on application, studying and life in foreign universities with the students of grade 2018 and 2017 in QMES. Mr. Chen Chen, Director for Student Affairs Office, hosted the activity.
After graduation from the School of Materials Science and Engineering of NPU in 2017, Ma Yuewen studied in the Manchester University for Master’s degree and in the City University of Hong Kong for Ph. D degree of Physics.
Chen Xinjie graduated from the School of Materials Science and Engineering of NPU in 2017 as an Excellent Undergraduate. Then she studied in the Manchester University as an exchange student financed by the CSC Exchange Program for Excellent Undergraduates. Later she studied in Northwestern University for Master’s Degree and started Ph. D study from fall in 2019 in California University.
Li Haobo studied in the Technical University of Madrid financed by CSC for half a year in 2017. He obtained the Master’s Degree of Materials Science and Engineering in the Carnegie Mellon University in May 2019 and started Ph. D program of Materials science from August 2019 in the same university.
