QMES Successfully Held the Election Defense for the Change of the Student Union Members

On the evening of June 10, 2022,the election defense for the change of members of QMES Student Unionwas held in Lecture Hall 410, East Teaching Building A. Li Ziqian, Xu Weihang and Xu Xiuqi, the officers of the second student council of the college, and all the undergraduate candidates who participated in the election attended the defense.The election defense was presided over by Li Ziqian, Executive Chairman of the Student Union of QMES.

First of all, Li Ziqian, on behalf of the Student Union, made a summary of the work over the past year, and then introduced the process and precautions of this defense.

Subsequently, the candidates defended in order of department. The content of the defense was mainly divided into three parts: personal experience, work summary and work prospects. For the question of how the department head leads the department to make continuous progress, Jiang Runpeng believed that the task of each member should be reasonably allocated, so as to "make the best use of the talents". He Daxiang suggested that we should strengthen publicity and open up new fields at the right time to face challenges in the future.

Finally, the members introduced the planning of future work, and determined the candidates for the next department heads according to the defense results and daily work performance.

There is a long way to go, and we should forge ahead bravely. Every member of the Student Union should cherish the opportunities provided by the school, serve the students wholeheartedly, and make a contribution to the development of the Student Union. Hope all members of the Student Union will not forget the original mission and continue devoting to the future work with full enthusiasm.
