Recruitment of the First Student Union of QMES
The first Student Union of QMES recruited members during October 24 and 30th. The recruitment received great support and guidance from the QMES leaders since Dean Kong Jie and Vice Dean Chen Jun joined the interview session and took part in team discussions to share their thoughts and ideas.
During the preparation stage,the Student Affairs Office designed the framework and organization of the first Student Union.The QMES official website and Wechat platform released notice of recruitmentto the QMES Student Unionon October 20th simultaneously. Meanwhile, bilingual posters were posted around NPU Campus. The recruitment activity drew attention from teachers and students from the whole university. After three-days of publicity, 110 CVs were received.
In total, 9 interviews were held respectively on October 24 and 26. There were self-introduction and group discussion during the interviews, which gave students a full opportunity to show their advantages. The Student Union, as a core body for connecting the school and students, managing and organizing student activities, participation in Student Union, is the very first and important step for every student to be part of the school’s daily operation and management.
