Li Yan, Vice President of Xi’an University of Technology Visited QMES

On the afternoon of May 6, Li Yan, Vice President of Xi’an University of Technology; Wang Hui, Director of the Media Office of the Committee of CPC; Kang Wenxiang, Director of the International Department; Zhang Zhiqiang, Deputy Director of the International Department, and Yang Yuan, Vice Dean of the Graduate School, came to QMES of NPU to conduct research on issues related to Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools.

On behalf of NPU, Kong Jie extended a warm welcome to Li Yan and his delegation.On behalf of QMES, Fan Xiaoli made a detailed report on the application background, operation status and development prospect of Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools in NPU.Kong Jie said that NPU and Xi’an University of Technology were close to each other in location. The two universities have been working together for years to explore the reform and development of higher education and jointly providing assistance for the rapid development of higher education in Shaanxi Province and for the work of Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools.

Li Yan gave a brief introduction to the school characteristics, development and international exchange of Xi’an University of Technology.The two sides discussed in depth the management mode, enrollment mode, development of training program, curriculum convergence and other issues of Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools.Li Yan also pointed out that QMES, as the first non-independent legal person Chinese foreign cooperative school in Northwest China, has rich experience in Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools, organization operation, teaching management, teacher introduction, student work and so on, which is of great significance for the development of Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools for Xi’an University of Technology.It is necessary for the two sides to carry out regular exchanges and cooperation, and strive to gain more achievements in international talent training, education and teaching innovation.

After the meeting, accompanied by relevant staff, Li Yan and his delegation visited the One-stop Office Platform, Common Room, Innovation Laboratory, Internet Smart Classroom, etc.
