Northwestern Polytechnical University and Queen Mary University of London Co-Founded International Center for Teaching and Learning
On June 25th, Vice Director Liu Jianlin of Education Department of Shaanxi Province, visited Northwestern Polytechnical University. He attended the inauguration ceremony of International Center for Teaching and Learning (ICTL), together with President Wang Jinsong of NPU, President Colin Bailey of QMUL, and Director Hu Xuebin of the Education Cooperation Office of the British Embassy.
ICTL is affiliated to QMES, NPU. It is the third joint institution established after the establishment of QMES and NPU-QMUL Joint Research Institute of Advance Materials & Structures by the two universities under the strong support and guidance of the Education Department of Shaanxi Province. It is another important milestone of the comprehensive, multi-level and in-depth cooperation between NPU and QMUL. ICTL will focus on the initiative of undergraduate talent training, to construct a community of "teaching" and "learning". ICTL is hoped to provide references to educational teaching in the world by providing an international teaching research platform with international influence, exploring efficient and cutting-edge teaching methods in engineering disciplines, and gradually creating a new paradigm for training international top talents in engineering disciplines.
