The Sixth JAC Meeting
On January 16th, the Sixth JAC meeting of QMES was held at the Meeting Room 613, West Building of Graduate Studies, NPU. JAC members from NPU and QMUL joined the meeting. The video meeting was hosted by Wan Xiaopeng, Chair of JAC and Vice President of NPU.
During the meeting, JAC members reviewed achievements that QMES has got in 2018 and passed the change in membership from both NPU and QMUL sides. Zhang Jianxin, Chen Jun, Fan Xiaoli, Andy Bushby, Mike Reece reported on issues related to financial expenditure in 2018 and budget of 2019, scholarship distribution of 2017-2018 academic year, summer school and winter school, students’ enrolment and retake, ICTL recent work, dual degree master programmes and the symposium hosted by JRI-AMAS. Several issues were discussed and mutual consent was reached.
