Three Professors Delivered Academic Lectures in QMES
On December 26th, Prof. Wan Xinhua of Peking University, Prof. Xu Fujian of Beijing University of Chemical Technology, and Researcher Wang Shutao of Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry, CAS delivered 3 lectures for QMES students. The lectures were hosted by Prof. Kong Jie and Prof. Li Peng jointly.
Prof. Wan Xinhua’s lecture focused on Pasteur split and proposed new strategies on crystal resolution of racemic compounds. Prof. Xu Fujian’s lecture was “Basic study of natural polysaccharides medical materials”. He introduced a kind of cationic starch anticoagulant developed by his team, which could be used for hemostasis. Researcher Wang Shutao delivered a lecture on “Bionic adhesion to interface materials”. His team studied bionic multiscale adhesion of controllable interface materials and early diagnosis.
During the Q&A session, the three professors fully interacted with students and teachers at present and patiently answered a series of questions.
