Autumn Semester Academic Assistance Phased Summary of QMES
QMES has steadily advanced academic assistance since the start of autumn semester. QMES regularly arrange online and offline Q&A, chapter special explanations and Q&A before the midterm exam for the subjects Advanced Math, Linear Algebra, General Physics, Metals I-Deformation and Strengthening and Structural Characterisation to effectively help students of all grades of QMES. The specific work is as follows:
Advanced Math Ⅰ
The assistance team of the subject Advanced Math I regularly organizes explanations of chapter knowledge, arranging volunteers to answer offline questions at QMES every day, and conducting online lectures and offline Q&A activity before the exam on November 5. In the next two months, the team members will continue to work to relieve the pressure of students in studying Advanced Math.
Linear Algebra
The assistance team of the subject Linear Algebra have completed the recordings of three assistance courses in the first half of the autumn semester of 2022-2023, and have helped more than 50 freshmen. The assistance team is committed to providing the best assistance services for all students.
The assistance team of the subject General Physics conducts weekly online and offline Q&A, chapter knowledge point summary and concentrated review before the midterm exam to help students have a better understanding and mastery towards the knowledge and achieve ideal results in the exam.
Metals I-Deformation and Strengthening
The assistance team of the subject Metals I-Deformation and Strengthening mainly adopts online mode, using Tencent Meeting, QQ and other platforms to answer students’ questions. At present, two online Q&A meetings have been held, and the team members are actively solving problems for students, and it is expected that online comprehensive review will be arranged before the final exam.
The assistance team of the subject Structural Characterisation mainly adopts online support mode. Students’ questions about the course mainly focus on the study methods and how to conduct the review after class. The team members suggested students referring to Chinese learning materials to strengthen their understanding, and they plan to conduct Q&A of key knowledge.
The assistance work of the first half of autumn semester is temporarily over. The assistance team will continue to work hard to conduct Q&A work with a positive, serious, patient and responsible attitude in the future. It is expected that the assisted students will continuously improve their awareness of independent learning, making new progress and breakthrough in the subsequent learning process, and jointly creating a good learning atmosphere for QMES.
