QMES Held the Meeting of Studying the Spirit of Cadre Conference and Work Arrangement for the New Semester
On the morning of 1stSeptember, QMES held an expanded Party meeting to convey the spirit of Cadre Conference at the Meeting Room XA301, West Building of Graduate Studies, Youyi Campus, in which the works related to the new semester were deployed. Fan Xiaoli, Dean of QMES; Dai Fuping, Secretary of QMES Party Committee; Cheng Yin, Vice Dean and Deputy Secretary of QMES Party Committee and all the faculty members attended the meeting with Dai Fuping as the host.
Fan Xiaoli conveyed the spirit of Cadre Conference held on 27thand 28thAugust to all the staff of QMES, interpreted the main works of NPU in 2022, and guided participants to learn the “Four Action Plans” emphasized by the NPU Party Secretary Zhang Wei at that meeting. She said that based on the key work of this semester, QMES would follow the NPU’s long-term development strategy, take full advantage of Sino-foreign cooperative education, make contribution to NPU’s talent cultivation and management personnel construction.
Subsequently, Dai Fuping conveyed the spirit of Secretary Meeting of the NPU Primary Party Committee, requiring all the staff to adhere to the guidance of Xi Jinping’s Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for the New Era and set the stage for the 20th National Congress of the CPC. He stressed that we should scientifically deploy the school’s various works in advance, enhance awareness of potential dangers, and adhere to high-quality development. Besides, he also underscored the importance of cybersecurity, which required us to strengthen the control and prevention of major cyber risks and enhance the governance of QMES’ new media.
Finally, Cheng Yin reported the work plans of the new semester on students and introduced the requirements of returning NPU towards students. Fan Xiaoli deployed the teaching work, and emphasized that under the condition of postponing returning school due to the epidemic, all the staff members should pay close attention to students’ needs and strengthen communication with students.
In the new semester, with the goal of carrying out “Four Action Plans” of NPU and promoting NPU’s substantial and high-quality development, QMES will continue to do well the work of talent cultivation with a higher and stricter standard, and play the leading role in the Sino-foreign cooperative institutions of Northwest region.
