QMES Held Activities to Celebrate the Centenary of the Founding of the Communist Youth League of China (CYLC)

On the occasion of the upcoming China's Youth Day, QMES held a series of theme education activities to set the stage for the 20th National Congress of the CPC and celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CYLC. QMES organized the students to understand General Secretary Xi Jinping's six suggestions and ardent expectations for Chinese youth in the new era, and study the glorious history of the CPC and the CYLC, with hopes that young people should set lofty ideals, refine their morality and take on the great task and responsibility of achieving the national rejuvenation.

QMES Organized Chinese Communist Youth League members to Study and Discuss the Spirit of Xi Jinping's Speech Delivered During the Visit to Renmin University of China

Ahead of China's Youth Day, Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee made remarks during his visit to Renmin University of China in Beijing. Xi expressed hopes that all young people in the country can keep in mind the Party's instructions, strive for national rejuvenation, live up to the promise of their youth and expectations of our times and our people, and work hard for the best results possible. Chinese Communist Youth League members of QMES carried out special learning activities collectively and individually, and managed to have a better sense of the spirit of Xi's speech. Wu Fangzhou from Class of 2019, Bai Xue from Class of 2020, and Shi Zhaoxiaohan from Class of 2021 shared their opinions.

Dai Fuping, Secretary of QMES Party Committee, Delivered an Ideological and Political Course to Students of QMES

On April 28th, school leaders and representatives of students of QMES collectively studied the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech made during a visit to Renmin University of China in Beijing, and an exchange meeting, themed "Set the Stage for the 20th National Congress of the CPC, Always Follow the Party's Leadership, and Forge Ahead on the New Journey" was carried out. Presided over by Gao Zike, Commissary in charge of publicity of Youth League Working Committee, the meeting also invited Dai Fuping, Secretary of QMES Party Committee, teachers of Student Affairs Office, members of Youth League Working Committee, representatives of QMES Student Union and all students of the League Branch QM022103.

For starters, Gao Zike and Wang Xinjie, representatives of the Youth League Working Committee, Li Ziqian and Liu Zhening, leading members of Student Union shared their understanding on youth development and volunteer service under the guidance of the Youth League Committee, respectively. On behalf of Chinese Communist Youth League members, Gu Zimo, He Daxiang and Sun Hanguang communicated what they have learned from the history of the Party and the League, Xi Jinping's series of speeches and the white paper titled “Youth of China in the New Era”.

Subsequently, Dai Fuping elaborated on the spirit of Xi Jinping's important speech and delivered an ideological and political lecture centered on the white paper of " Youth of China in the New Era " and development of the school.

At the end of the meeting, Dai presented the book , which follows Xi’s devotion and belief in the younger generations, to each participant, hoping that the students would remember Xi's teachings and expectations for young people. Dai also encouraged students to greet the coming Congress with a positive attitude, learn from history, work hard, forge ahead for a better future, and make tireless efforts to realize the Second Centenary Goal and the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation.

League Branch QM012004 Held Activities to Study the History of CYLC

On April 27, League Branch QM012004 held an activity with the theme of "Celebrate the Centenary of the founding of the CYLC and Deliver the Eulogy of Youth", and League Secretary from Class of 2021 was invited. At the same time, Class of QM012004 held a sharing activity concerning the construction of the May Fourth Red Flag League Branch.

Chinese Communist Youth League Members of QMES Studied the White Paper of “Youth of China in the New Era”

On April 21, 2022, the State Council Information Office of China published a white paper titled "Youth of China in the New Era" about which Sun Yuyao, Zhang Jingqi and Gong Yujiu from Class of 2020 shared their opinions.

By dint of holding a series of activities to celebrate the centenary of the founding of the CYLC, the League members of QMES expressed that in the new era, they should seize the opportunity and strive to become a new generation with lofty ideals, firm beliefs, refined morality, strong willpower, a broad vision and abundant knowledge. They will always play an exemplary and leading role in study and life, and set stage for the 20th National Congress of theCPCwith concrete actions.
