QMES Held a Training on The Overall Plan for Deepening the Reform of Educational Evaluation in the New Era

According to the requirements of NPU for organizing an in-depth training onThe Overall Plan for Deepening the Reform of Educational Evaluation in the New Era(hereinafter referred to as the “Overall Plan”) and the unified deployment of the Party Committee of School of MaterialsScience and Engineering, QMES Party branch held a general meeting at the Conference Room 413 on the morning of March 24, 2021, which was presided over by Kong Jie, Secretary of QMES Party branch. The student Party members participated in this meeting online through the platform of Tencent Meeting.

First of all, Kong Jie conveyed the content and requirements of NPU Overall Plan. Subsequently, Cheng Yin, Deputy secretary, led everyone to study the reference outlines of the Overall Plan, explained the background, basic orientation and general requirements of this plan, and helped participants deeply understand the three key issues of “why to change”, “what to change” and “how to change”. Next, Kong Jie comprehensively interpreted the Overall Plan of the State Council and CPC Central Committee, including its general ideas, main principles, reform objectives and key tasks, and introduced the main objectives and tasks of the Overall Plan of NPU. He stressed that QMES would base on its actual situation to implement NPU’s all kinds of deployments on the Overall Plan, so as to ensure that NPU’s reform plan for educational evaluation could be effective.

After the meeting, the participants expressed that in their following works, they would continue to study and discuss the core essence of educational evaluation according to their specific responsibilities, firmly grasp the political direction of education, and fulfill the basic responsibility of fostering virtue through education.
