QMES Carried out a Blanket Inspection on Work Safety

On October 28, 2021, in order to implement the relevant deployments of NPU on work safety, QMES organized a blanket inspection of the whole school, so as to ensure the orderly operation of QMES’ teaching, management and other related works.

The inspection was conducted by Kong Jie, the leader of the Work Safety Team of QMES, with the participation of all team members. They focused on the safety use of electricity, instruments and equipment, as well as the allocation of safety equipment in the laboratory. The inspection results showed that the relevant NPU regulations on work safety were basically obeyed and the preventive measures, standardized operation and safety use of electricity were completely achieved in the laboratory area. However, certain equipment was not used very often, and the electricity power of the laboratory was hard to meet the requirements of instruments and equipment. Therefore, the leader of safety team immediately deployed the relevant staff members to coordinate and rectify this problem.

Work safety is the top priority among the works of NPU, which is related to the overall safety and stability of NPU as well as the personal and property safety of all teachers and students. Under the leadership of Kong Jie, QMES work safety team would implement various measures on campus safety and stability, strive to improve the safety awareness and risk prevention ability of teachers and students, prevent accidents in advance, and actively create a harmonious, stable, safe and orderly campus environment.
