A Delegation from Xi’an Exit and Entry Administration Came to QMES for Investigation
On the morning of December 2, Zhang Tong, the political commissar ofXi’an Exit and Entry Administration and his two colleagues visited QMES, and conducted an investigation on QMES’ foreign teachers and international students.Dai Fuping, Party Secretary of QMES; Kong Jie, Dean of QMES; Fan Xiaoli and Cheng Yin, Vice Deans of QMES; and Li Ziwei, Vice Dean of International College of NPU, attended this meeting.
Kong Jie warmly welcomed the guests and thanked for Xi’an Exit and Entry Administration’s long-term support for the visa processing of foreign teachers of QMES. Then, Zhang Tong made a brief report on the work of Xi’an Exit and Entry Administration during the past year.He also pointed out that the Exit and Entry Administration constantly adjusted work style and improved service awareness, in order to earnestly implement the concept of “Delivering Services to the People” .
At present, due to the pandemic, British teachers were still unable to return to NPU for offline teaching. The comrades of the Xi’an Exit and Entry Administration gave detailed explanations and suggestions on the issuance of invitation letters and visa processing, and said that both sides would explore further corresponding solutions. Later, they answered questions about relevant policy from some participants, and expressed that they would continue to support the development of NPU in the future byeffectively providing comprehensive services for foreign teachers and international students.
