The Undergraduate Admissions Office of NPU went to QMES for Investigation and Guidance
On January 15th, 2021, Wang Keqin, Deputy Director of Teaching Affairs Department and Director of Undergraduate Admissions Office, as well as Li Pei and Han Yinben, Deputy Directors of Undergraduate Admissions Office, came to QMES to investigate and guide our work, and explained in detail the undergraduate admissions policy of NPU and the new round of college entrance examination reform.The leading group and all staff of QMES attended this meeting.
First of all, on behalf of QMES, Kong Jie extended a warm welcome to the leaders of the Undergraduate Admissions Office for their visit and guidance, and expressed his gratitude to the Admissions Office for its strong support for the admissions work of QMES over the years. Besides, he hoped that through this meeting, we could learn more about the new policies and trends of admissions work, continuously improve the quality of students, and optimize the structure of students.Wang Keqin paid close attention to the admissions work at the front line of QMES, and said that he would work with staff of QMES to study the admissions policy and adjust the admissions strategy reasonably.
Han Yinben made a detailed interpretation of the reform plan for college entrance examination in various provinces in recent years, the latest admissions policy of NPU, and the challenges faced by the admissions work of QMES.Li Pei briefly introduced the Admissions Work Summary in 2020 and Admissions Work Plan for 2021 of NPU.During the interactive process, the staff of QMES asked questions about the admission mechanism of college entrance examination in relevant provinces and the adjustment of admissions strategy of QMES in 2021, while leaders of the Admissions Office gave detailed answers one by one.
Kong Jie said that the practical effect achieved by undergraduate talent training in grade 2017 of QMES was attributed to the early attention and great investment in its admissions work.In the post-epidemic period, the admissions work of QMES will face new challenges and pressures.At this time, the interpretation of the admissions policy by the Undergraduate Admissions Office will help QMES adjust its admissions strategy in time and further optimize the structure of students.Wang Keqin said that the Admissions Office will continue to support the admissions work of QMES, strengthen the information sharing with QMES, and jointly promote the orderly development of admissions work for undergraduates in 2021 to a new level.
