Project of “International Joint Research Institute of Advanced Materials and Structures of NPU” was Funded by the Seed Fund for Scientific and Technological Cooperation of 2019

According to theImplementation Plan of Seed Fund for Scientific and Technological Cooperation of “One Belt and Road” Initiative and Important Inter-university Partners of NPU (Trial), the Scientific Innovation Department of NPU started the collection work in April 2019 in order to deepen substantive scientific research cooperation between NPU and universities abroad.

Through personal declaration, college audit, expert review organized by the university, reviewed and approved by the Scientific Innovation Department and Office of International Cooperation, relying on QMUL-NPU Joint Research Institute of Advanced Materials and Structures (AMAS-JRI), the project “International Joint Research Institute of Advanced Materials and Structures of NPU”, under the charge of Professor Kong Jie, Dean of QMES, was approved with a funding period of 2 years.

The International Joint Research Institute has carried out international cutting-edge scientific and technological cooperation, personnel exchanges, postgraduate training, etc. with QMUL and Warsaw University of Technology. It provides an opportunity for NPU to better promote the cross integration of emerging disciplines and construction of “Double First-Class”.
