A Delegation from School of Engineering Sciences and Mathematics, Luleau University of Technology, Sweden Visited QMES
From August 15thto 16th,ProfessorAndreas Almqvist,Associate ProfessorJens Hardell,Associate ProfessorYijun Shi andDoctorMarcus BjorlingfromSchool ofEngineeringSciencesandMathematics, Lulea University of Technology, Sweden visitedQMES. DeanKongJie,ProfessorGuJunwei,Director ofAppliedChemistryDepartment ofSchoolofNatural and AppliedSciences,Associate Professor Shi Xuetao who is the DeputyDirector ofAppliedChemistryDepartment ofSchoolofNatural and AppliedSciences and the Director ofDepartment ofPolymerMaterials andEngineering ofQMES, and teacher representatives attended thediscussion.
The two sides held a symposium in2ndMeeting Room,InternationalConferenceCenterin YouyiCampuson August 15th. Jens Hardell,AssociateProfessor, firstly introduced basicinformationof Lulea University of Technology, Swedenand mainly talked about their majors, main research directions, scientific research results, talentsmanagement and training of theSchool ofEngineeringScience andMathematics.DeanKongJiegave awarmwelcometotheSchool ofEngineeringSciencesandMathematics of the Lulea University of Technology, Sweden, and introduced backgroundinformationandmajorsofQMES.Hehopedthat both sides could make use of advantages and resources tohave a deepdiscussionand studyaboutthe feasibility of deepeningourcooperationin aspectssuchas teachervisits, academic research and joint training of students, so as to achieve a high levelandwin-win cooperation. In the end, the two sides reached a preliminary intention on the exchangeeducation programof undergraduates, the joint training of postgraduates, the exchange of teachers, the cooperation of academic conferences, and the training of teachers and administrators.
On August 16th, the delegationteamcame toChang 'anCampus for a field visit andhad a thoroughconversation oncooperation between the two sides in teaching, scientific research and other aspects.
