On the morning of June 12, QMES held its end-of-term undergraduate teaching meeting for the spring semester of the 2023-2024 academic year. The meeting was attended by Wang Yongxin, Vice Dean of QMES, Cheng Yin, Vice Dean of QMES, Yang Ye, Director of the Teaching Affairs Office, Huang Quanzhang, Director of the Student Affairs Office, as well as staff from both the Student Affairs and Teaching Affairs Offices. The conference was chaired by Wang Yongxin.

Firstly, Wang Yongxin informed attendees of the arrangements and schedules for the end-of-term undergraduate teaching conference of NPU, as well as the relevant tasks and deadlines for the 2024 undergraduate graduation review. He instructed the Teaching Affairs Office and Student Affairs Office to re-confirm the completion status of the graduates’ training programmes to ensure the accuracy of the graduation list.

The meeting then delved into the issues of exam discipline and invigilator responsibilities. Wang Yongxin stressed the importance of maintaining strict exam standards, reinforcing the review process for Extenuating Circumstances, and ensuring fairness and integrity throughout. He directed the Teaching Affairs Office to coordinate invigilation and monitoring arrangements, ensuring that all invigilators are fully briefed on their duties to prevent any issues and ensure the smooth running of the final exams.

During the meeting, Wang Yongxin also organised the revision of the 2024 education plan and teaching syllabus. Ding Jing reported on the progress of internships for the 2021 and 2023 cohort undergraduates.

Each office will act by the meeting’s directives, diligently implementing the necessary tasks to ensure the orderly conduct of end-of-term teaching activities.
